It was great to mix things up last week with a maternity session, it had been a little while. But the one thing I love about maternity sessions always means a newborn session is coming up!! Can’t wait to meet  Miss Claire!!

I had a great session last week with the sweetest newborn and her big sister. They both did so well and it was such a pleasure to meet this family.

I had a hard time narrowing down a few peeks for them as I see so many images from there session I love. Hope they do too!

What an amazing time in a woman’s life and such a beautiful thing to capture and remember.

I was able to travel to the home of a client for a newborn session this last weekend. I was glad to see their home wasn’t damaged at all by the tornado that went through Eagle a few weeks back.  Driving through the damaged area is unbelievable and so sad. My old subdivision we used to live in was the area hit the hardest and our old home had some damage but not as bad as some who lost their homes completely. It hurts my heart to see all that they are having to deal with and all the loss. But as we all know material things can be replaced.  But the first thing that always comes to mind of not wanting to loss is pictures. It reminds my how important pictures are in our lives. It’s one of few material things we keep forever, cherish and pass on far after we are gone.  I feel blessed to provide families with these things of importance. Photographs are moments of who you are and how you lived.  To have photographs is to live life twice.

Nothings better then to capture this sweet moments of a newborn, they change and grow so fast.  This little sweetheart was  perfect for me, I have been on a roll with perfect newborn models! :0)  Look at all her beautiful hair!

Such a doll but she shares her cuteness with her big sister too. Oh and how she’s grown! I couldn’t wait to see her, she has changed so much since I saw her last. She was my billboard baby! Her Daddy featured her on his business billboard about a year ago and I loved seeing my image this big! I will dig it up to post again so you can see how big sister has grown.

She was so perfect for me. She never woke from the time she got to the studio to the time we were done.  And to top it off I didn’t have to wash any blankets either!

Finally a sneak peek of baby Leo. I had such a fun session with him. He was full of smiles. I love all the images from his session can’t wait for His Mommy and Daddy and Grandma to see them!

WOW… what a great week of sessions so far,  more to come tomorrow and I can’t wait!

This little sweet pea arrived two months before her due date weighing in at 3lbs but now she has doubled her weight!

She is just beautiful and full of sweet smiles!

I had the honor of photographing another addition to this beautiful family. I have been photographing this family for years now and have been able to watch this family grow into a family of six. They have the most beautiful well behaved children and always a joy to be around.  Miss Lacey is so blessed to have been born into this family. She has siblings that are just in love with her and such good helpers for Mom. Lacey is just as sweet as can be and I really wanted to take her home myself but I knew I had no chance with her older siblings and of course her parents were smitten by her too!
