…with Him!

Just 12 days old! He did everything I wanted him to do and more! (not your typical male)HeHe What a sweetie he is. Just started proofing and I already have so many favorites, I just had to share them right away for the proud new parents to see. I’m sure I’ll be adding even more soon, he’s too sweet not to!!

Look at those little wrinkles on his back!! Ohhhh just love him!!!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Hope your homes were filled with the anticipation and excitement that ours was! The kids had so much fun and it was nice to be surrounded with family  and relatives you don’t see often enough.  Hope your kids play with their toys longer than it took you to take them out of the box! My fingers still hurt from all those twisty wires holding everything in the box! Hope you were able to relax and enjoy this time with your family and friends and take in the True Magic of Christmas!

Hope your kids are so tired from all the fun, they sleep like angels!!

I’m done proofing my last session for this year (well unless a newborn session is needed)!  This year has really taken Amy Hall Photography to a new level. And it’s in great thanks to all the wonderful clients and friends, who believed in me. You’ve helped me learn, grow and  build my confidence so I could find my style in photography. I have so enjoyed meeting so many new families this year. Thank you everyone for all the referrals and spreading the word to help my business grow.

I look forward to the New Year in seeing the changes to the families as the little ones grow and as the new additions are added.  I also look forward in seeing changes in me, as a mother, wife and photographer. Thanks again everyone for giving  me the opportunity to do something I so love doing.  Enjoy the Holidays with your families and may the New Year bring you much joy! I love seeing the dynamics between siblings, parent and child and families.  This family is one that I definitely want to strive to be more like… fun, silly, playful and full of life! Not to mention the deep bond of family love that shines through. I didn’t ask the family to do any of this ( especially the wet willies!) it just is natural and them! How cool is that!  I think more of us (including myself) just need to settle down and not take everything so serious!! Life is to short ~ Let’s have fun while we are here!! Make it your New Years resolution ~ it will be mine! I’m too stressed and busy right now, so it will have to wait till after the holidays! HEHE!

I had the honor of capturing moments for an amazing family this last weekend. I had heard of the family almost a year ago when their journey began. In February of  2006 their son was diagnosed with Ependymoma, a rare and life-threatening brain tumor at the age of 7 mos old. Since his initial surgery, he has undergone chemotherapy and conformal radiation to treat the remaining tumor.

Due to the amazing strength and faith of his family and by the grace of God. He is recovering one miracle after another. The story of their journey has touched so many lives without them even knowing it.  Their story will tug at your heart and warm your soul. It will show you the amazing  power of prayer and the miracles that happen everyday in our lives. You’ll see the inner strength that can be gained if you turn to the one above.

Next is of a family I had so much fun with. Can’t wait to meet the next addition to this already great family. You can just see the love and the fun this family  has. I’m so glad "That I was the chosen one" ( he he- this family will know what I mean!) to capture memories for them.
