Hi Amy,
Just got in here and how I love your BLOG. I have not look through all of the older posts yet but I am so jealous of your beautiful studio. Maybe I can drive and visit you sometime and shoot with you?????
Anyways, I love these images, so fun and playful. You really captured their personalities on these.

It’s not totally finished yet but almost! So I had to officially spill the beans even though many of you know already. It’s coming together slow but sure. The lighting is amazing in it and I can’t wait to have my first session in it! It will be nice to have a space so everyone will be able to see first hand all the beautiful canvas, standouts and albums you can get.
The natural light studio is located in downtown Waukesha, next to the Fox River and lots of get spots for outdoor sessions.
So here’s a peek at what it looks like so far…
Look at these fun little cameras for all the kids!

I LOVE it! I can’t wait to see the work you do there. And what a great location… next to that great park and lots of fun spots downtown Waukesha! Love the furniture. Very cool. YEAH!

Ok well maybe just by land and lake. I have never gone on a boat ride during a session before! It was lots of fun and we had to find just the right spot to capture a beautiful silhouette of this family. It was a perfect night for a ride! Thanks guys for a fun night! I will have your gallery up soon, enjoy the sneak peak!

Her mom is AMY-azing to get her trained so early! What a rockstar. And she has to be the sweetest little girl you’ve ever photographed. I have a slight bias, but shhhhh, don’t tell anyone

Oh Shannon, she is just the sweetest little peanut. I love these pictures!
August 26, 2008 at 12:25 pm

I had fun with these 3 kiddos at their house. One was feeling a little under the weather but I think I still got some sweet shots of her, the black and white one of her is one of my favorites, those eyes these twins have, WOW!! But the session was more to capture some of their little brother. This was my first time meeting him and he was a pleasure to photography and I just love the coy look he is giving me in this shot! So cute!
shannon -
Those eyes are AMAZING!

Your sister kept a secret from you!
I was able to visit one of my favorite families at their beautiful home this time and I had such a blast with them! The kids had so much fun and were so much more comfortable being on their own turf. This is just a sneak peek from their session and I hope to have your gallery up in the next few days. I didn’t want you to have to keep the secret from Adrea for to long. You see Toree (the mom in the picture) and her sister are blog stalkers of mine and Toree thought it would be funny for her sister to check one day and see them on the blog. SURPRISE!
I will show more from this session in a few weeks as I am still behind on posting.
shannon -
Alright… these blog stalkers need to start posting. Poor Patty and I need a little company. Come on, girls…. start posting! Amy loves all the the comments I’m sure!
Great work as always, Amy.

Their proud Grandma -
Once again, Amy, you’ve outdone yourself while working with our daughter and her family. You’ve captured their playful personalities. They all love working with you because you make it an exciting experience! Thank you!
September 4, 2008 at 9:19 pm

This family has been coming to me each year for the past 3 years and it’s always fun to see how the family has grown. This year it has grown by two feet!
And what a cutie she is. The little princess of the family. I think she is going to have to be a tough princess to live with these two big brothers though!
Patty -
I love the last one of mom with baby…that is so sweet! How fun it is to watch the families grown and change!

I remember those boys from last year. She’ll have lots of protection from two big brothers!
August 19, 2008 at 8:32 pm

from my “favorite kind of family picture” session I had blogged about a while back. Here’s a few of the kiddo’s. This little guy was such a ham with the most out going and fun personality I have seen in a 4 year old in a while. I think he is the wild child from the bunch cause his bigger brother and sister were pretty reserved. None the less a great group of kids!
Also this was the first day of sessions that I got to play with my new baby! My new Nikon D700 Baby! And I am lov’in every minute with her!
shannon -
Great looking kids. The first one is especially cute!
August 14, 2008 at 9:37 pm

These sisters and brother came for a session all on their own to surprise their parents with updated pictures. What a great group of siblings and I think their parents will love them! Great idea!! Can’t wait for you all to come back for that family picture!
Jen -
WOW!!! What beautiful siblings!!! And very lucky parents to have such thoughtful kids!!!

What a fantastic surprise! Their parents will love it. I love them walking holding hands. Beautiful.

These are great…what sweet children. I hope my kids grow up to be as thoughtful as these beautiful siblings! What lucky parents!

Look at him now one year later! He is just the sweetest little boy. As soon as they arrived for the session Mr. G reached out his arms for me to hold him and he gave me the best hug ever!
And yes I just melted! I think anyone that comes in contact with “G” is smitten by him. You can sure tell his parents are! I love these moments I was able to capture for them. What a great time I had, Thanks guys!
shannon -
I love the crawl with his tongue hanging out! Too funny.
